California Memorial Hospital has an immediate need for a CT/X-Ray Tech.
Must have ARRT, BLS and 2+ years of experience for consideration.

Under the direction of the Imaging Diagnostic Manager, the CT/X-Ray Technologist utilizes computed tomography with the operation of CT/X-ray/bone density equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images for interpretation or intervention by the Radiologist.
Exhibits quality patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for the successful completion of the procedure.
Essential Functions:
Performs a variety of CT exams related to the field.
Explain the procedure to the patient.
Instruct and assist patient in assuming physical position for exam.
Set, adjust, manipulate, control and maintain a variety of complex electronic equipment to apply ionizing radiation to patients for diagnosis of disease.
Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient, staff and self.
Administer prescribed contrast media according to established guidelines.
Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions to the lead technologist.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be ARRT certified in Radiography and CT and currently licensed by the State of California.
Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (R) (ARRT) registration or pending registration Current CPR/ BLS certification Basic knowledge of Siemens CT Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic x-ray procedures.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and body mechanics necessary to safely perform x-ray exams.
Basic knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology.
Basic understanding of computer functions necessary to perform x-ray exams Ability to communicate clearly and provide routine diagnostic imaging procedures to children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients with consideration to cultural and developmental stages during the exam process.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
