Reports to: Construction Superintendent
Location: California or Arizona

Position Summary:
As a Mechanical Installer, you will work with an REC Solar Superintendent to ensure an OSHA compliant safe work environment, the highest standard of quality in the Solar Industry, end to end customer satisfaction, and project profitability.
Our ideal Mechanical Installer will
Have experience in the layout, handling and assembly of solar racking systems, preferably Panel Claw and Renusol RBI racking types
Work with Superintendent to ensure timely completion of projects, including project site setup, system layout, labor planning and usage, material deliveries and handling, project site clean-up and demobilization, etc.
Understand and be able to operate rental equipment and tools as part of rooftop and/or small ground mounted solar racking installations.
Be active participant in Pre-Construction, Safety, and Post Construction Lessons Learned Meetings
Work with Superintendent and Safety/Quality personnel to ensure job site safety and quality standards are enforced and documented.
Maintain attention to detail and timeliness of task completion while focused on efforts to increase installation efficiency;
Maintain professional appearance
What you'll need in order to succeed
High School diploma or equivalent, Solar related Vocational and/or Technical training is desirable;
2 years of commercial solar experience
Required certifications include:
Driver's License, active and in good standing
CPR / First Aid
OSHA 10
Preferred Certifications include:
OSHA 30
Equipment, including forklifts, reach forklifts, scissor lifts, etc desirable)
Strong sense of quality, Set the Standard
Computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, is desirable
Good judgment and analytical skills, think critically and able to solve problems
Organizational and customer service skill

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
